Week 2

Well I made it through the first week! Apparently I am like the bionic man, i was back to my birth weight in 48 hours. I healed from my circumcision in 3 days and my umbilical cord came off after 6 days. I am still not crying very much, only when I am hungry or have a dirty diaper. I am making it very easy for mom and dad so far. The only thing that seems like a struggle is that I eat every 1 1/2 hours all day and night long. It makes my mom and dad pretty tired. I am an eating machine. When I went for my 2 week check up I weighed 8lbs 9 3/4oz and I was 21 1/2" long. I was in the 50% for weight and the 75% for height. I am definitely squirmy. I am always trying to move. I can hold my head up and I hate to be swaddled! I hate small spaces like my moses basket. I really like to stretch and be free. My nickname "Hawk" suites me well because I have a loud squawk when I am hungry and I bite at my mom's cheek.
